Adding an event
You can add an event to your building calendar to share with your tenants / owners, council and or management team what’s happening in the building. Send custom reminders to select audiences, announcement emails, attach PDF’s and configure event’s title, details, location, type, visibility, URL, if it’s all day, and whether it repeats on a daily, weekly, monthly basis.
Adding an event to a property
Beginning from Dashboard navigate to Properties at the top right corner.
In Properties select the property you wish to add the event to.
- You can navigate to View Property in 2 ways:
- On the left of the property listing click the Blue Strata Number on the property list.
- On the right of the property listing click the mini menu and select View Property.
In View Property click Calendar in purple in the bottom right corner
In Calendar click Add Event in the top right or click on a date on the calendar to add an event automatically configured to that date.
From there you can configure the event’s:
- Title
- Details
- Location
- URL
- Date and Time
- When and if it repeats on a daily, weekly, monthly or yearly basis.
- If it’s all day
- Type
- Options: General, Bookings, Council Meetings, AGM/SGM Meeting, Maintenance, Inspection, Renewal, Follow Up, Hearing, Warranty.
- Visibility (Who can view this event)
- Options: Everyone, Only Council and Management, Only Management.
- Attachments
- Add as many PDF’s to your event as you need.
- Click on the trash can to remove the attachment once added.
- Reminders
- Add as many reminders as you need and configure the reminders’:
- Time
- Options: 24, 48, 72 hours before event
- Visibility (Who will see this reminder)
- Options: Management, Council, Owners and Tenants

Save the event to add to the calendar or cancel to clear the event.
When the event is created it will ask if you would like to send an announcement email to all viewers you selected in the event creation. This will be either everyone, only council and management, or only management depending on what was selected. Clicking Yes will send the announcement, clicking No will not send an announcement email. There is also the option to cancel and continue editing the event.
Once the event has been created you can click on it on the calendar to view the details and edit. To remove the event, click edit then remove at the bottom of the menu.
