To create a Request Template do the following:

Go to the ‘Request Template‘ section using the property mini-menu.

On the ‘Request Templates’ page you will find your templates as they are created.

Click on the ‘+Create Template’ button on the top right corner of the page.

Give the template a name. In this case we’ll call it ‘Maintenance Request‘.

Click ‘Save Template‘.

Once you save the template, it will be listed on the page with any others you create.

Click on the pencil icon under ‘Status’ to add the questions you want to ask in this template.

A pop-up window will provide the option to ‘Add Question’.

Click on ‘Add Question‘.

Another overlay will appear where you can choose the type of input field (small text field, large text field, checkbox, choices field or date-picker)

Select if the answer is ‘Required‘, Yes, or No.

Type in the question you want answered.

You can simply ask a question, or ask a question and provide some details.

“What is the nature of the maintenance issue? (Describe the issue in detail: e.g., leaky faucet, broken lighting, damaged wall, etc.)”

You have 250 characters to use in the question field.

Add as many questions as required to get the information you need for this Request.

Once you have added all of the questions, click ‘Save Template‘.

If you need to delete any of the questions, click the red trash icon on the far right of the question.

Now when someone wants to send a Request, they will have to choose the type of Request they want to send.

They will choose from a drop-down selector the type of Request they want to make.

The questions will all be presented based on what type of issue the Request is about.

If you want to duplicate any of the Templates to use on another property, click the ‘Copy Template‘ button on the ‘Request Templates’ page.

The Template is now duplicated on any other property without having to create multiple templates.

Editing a duplicated template will edit ALL instances of this template on all properties.
