When a Strata Corporation changes management and they chooses to work with another company using StrataPress, the current manager of the property may receive an email notification requesting approval of a property transfer.

Follow the link provided in the email to the dashboard or, from your dashboard, click ‘Properties‘ on the left side menu bar.

Above the list of your properties will appear the ‘Requested Property Transfers‘, where any active transfers will be listed.

If you choose to ‘Approve‘ the transfer, the company making the request will be notified and the property will remain active in the current account until the Transfer Date listed on the request, at which time the property will be automatically removed from the current Property Managers account and transferred to the new management company.

If no decision is made about the transfer, a reminder notification will be sent 48hrs prior to the Transfer Date, and again 24hrs prior to the Transfer Date, if no decision had been made.

If the transfer is Rejected, the company making the request will be notified and the property will remain in the current management portfolio.
