The Strata Owner’s Portal has a Calendar feature that enables the strata council and management to schedule upcoming and recurring events within the strata property.
It’s easy to use and can be targeted to specific groups like Only Council and Management, Only Management, or Everyone.
The Calendar feature is available to Strata Council Members and Management.
Strata Owners can view events that they have access to.
For Property Managers, each property has their own calendar to create events for a specific property.
To create a Calendar event, use the Calendar link located on the mini-menu for the property.
On the Calendar page, click the green “+ Add Event” button to schedule an event.
Once the ‘New Event‘ pop-up window is activated, you can start creating your event.
Event Title: Put in the name of this event (Council Meeting, AGM Meeting, Elevator Maintenance, etc.)
Event Details: Put in the details of the event.
Event Location: The location of the event.
Event URL: If you have a web link to more details or a website, put it here.
Event Date: Choose the date of the event.
Start Time: Set when the event will start.
End Time: Set when the even will end.
All Day Event: Check this box if this is a full day event.
+Recurring Event: Choose this option if this is a recurring event. Schedule the frequency to repeat
- Every day – Event repeats daily (Choose ending date)
- Every Week – Event repeats weekly (Choose day of week from Monday to Sunday) + (Choose ending date)
- Every Month – Event repeats on the same date every month (Choose ending date)
- Every Year – Event repeats annually (Choose exact date) + (Choose ending date)
Event Type: Choose a Meeting Type and Color:
- Council Meeting
- AGM/SGM Meeting
- Follow Up
Who can view this event: Choose who can view this event on their dashboard:
- Only Council and Management
- Only Management
+ Reminder: Add a single reminder, or multiple reminders.
- 24 hour
- 48 hour
- 72 hour
Send reminders to:
+ Attachment: Add a an attachment if needed.
- Allowable files are PDF
- Max upload Fie Size is 5 MB
Once you have your event details in place, click the green ‘Save‘ button at the bottom.
Clicking ‘Save’ presents one more choice, to send notifications or not.
Send Emails? Do you wish to send out emails regarding this event?
Choose Yes, No or Cancel.
Yes will send email notification to all of the Council Members, Management and registered Strata Owners, if they have been included in the Event.
Once a selection has been made, the notifications will go out (if choosing ‘Yes’) and the event will be added to the calendar for all to see.
Clicking on the Event on the Calendar will pop open a window with the event details.
Click on the pencil icon at the top right corner to edit the event.
You can edit the event details as needed and click the ‘Update‘ button to save your edits.
